A browser-based notebook in development for maple producers to record readings and observations from production and canning.
About the software
The Maple paired-reading notebook will help maple producers and operators keep related readings together, from production through later canning. Records will include measurements, units, dates and notes.
You’ll be able to review readings in date order, find earlier observations and export your records. The notebook will run in a browser, with a layout that works on phones, tablets and computers. It is still in development and is not available to purchase.
The notebook records your observations without interpreting them. It won’t judge syrup quality, calculate corrections, recommend production changes, forecast outcomes, provide regulatory advice or replace laboratory testing. It won’t include farm management, inventory tracking, sensor connections, IoT or AI.
